It’s been awhile since I have entered, but once I saw this weeks theme, I knew I had the perfect picture. This is one of my favorite images of my son. He looks so happy, healthy, and carefree, you would never know he has been fighting such a beast these last few years. Fly sweet boy, fly.

Since I finally upgraded to the new iPhone I have a much better camera, so I decided I would try to take a picture every day with my phone. It’s been fun, does anyone else do this?

Last year I attempted a project 365 and I made it about a third the way through it. This year I set a more realistic goal of taking a picture once a week. I knew I wanted the focus of my project to be pictures of my family. I want to be able to put all these pictures into a photo album for the boys to have some day.
If I can make it through this year, I am going to try to do it every year. I had grand plans of blogging these pics every week, but I am now just getting around to posting the last 13 weeks. Better late than never.
These are some of my all time favorite pictures of my older boys. The key to getting great pictures of them, is to engage them in an activity so they forget they are having their picture taken. I have decided from now on my boys must wear overalls at all time, isn’t it the cutest look ever for a little boy?!

So I have to admit I just read your post. Keeping you, your family, and your son in my thoughts & prayers – kids are amazingly strong and this photo makes me pretty sure that this beast is no match and he’ll beat it. Your photos are beautiful and thanks for sharing the story.

I love this photo and was immediately drawn to it when I saw it on I Heart Faces. Little did I know of the struggle that your sweet boy is going through. You just don’t see it in this photo.
