Gainesville Photography Classes

I am so excited to announce that I will now be offering one on one photography classes! This is a one time class that will last 2-3  hours (depending on prior knowledge.)

I love the idea of working one on one with people. While I think I could easily teach the basic concepts of photography in a group class, it wouldn’t allow me to teach each person how to use their cameras, which is half the battle in my eye. With a one on one class I will not only teach you how to take great pictures, I will also teach you how to use your camera! The class will also be custom tailored to fit where you are in your photography journey.

- how to get a blurry background in your pictures
- how to shoot in low light
- how to shoot in full sun
- how to avoid motion blur in your pictures
- how and where to focus
- how to pose people
- your camera’s settings, dials, and buttons

Advanced topics available for those who know the basics

- backlighting
- sun flare/haze
- metering
- angles
- creative process
- concept shoots
- business tips
- and so much more……

With the class you will also get a manual that will cover everything we go over and it will also include additional material, not covered. Like lens recommendations, sites I love, books that I recommend, etc. You will also have email access to me for three months for any questions that come up after your class.

Photoshop Class
Learn how to make your pictures shine in Photoshop! This is a 2-3 hour class.
